Superb Fly Fishing 
Created many years ago, Tan-Y-Mynydd is a Fly Fishing Haven, nestling in beautiful and tranquil Welsh countryside. Five lakes, abounding with a profusion of aquatic life, will test the best fisherman and, yet, give good fun and sport to the novice, be they young or old!

 Super Fit Tiger Trout 
We have now introduced a further stock of the super fit tiger trout. These are real mean machines that will test every knot and line to their limit - these fish are definitely not for the timid !

 Rod Bending Trout 
All the lakes are fully stocked with tough, fighting fit Rainbow Trout, supplied by our Main Supplier, Old Forge Trout Farm, and range from 2lb to 18lb - truly fish that bankside tales are made of.

 Wily Old Browns 
The lakes are also stocked with Brown Trout, which will no doubt prove popular with the traditionalist angler (light tackle recommended).

 Fly Patterns 
Each lake tends to fish differently but small Nymphs, Emergers and Buzzers should do the trick. The smaller fly seems to be the key here.
