Gary Neilson - 14 Pound 11oz
		Gary Neilson from Dundee with a fine specimen of 14lb 11oz - first fishing expedition of 2001. Tried fishing for 3 days but lakes iced over. The fish was caught on the second cast of the day. First ever double, in fact the fish is twice the size of Garys' two best ever fish ! Gary Neilson

Robert Ingham
		Robert Ingham has caught two doubles in one week - this one will keep him in trout steaks for quite some time. Paul Cartmel - 15lb
		This 15 pounder was caught by Paul Cartmel on the Top Pool - first double he has caught and he needed a coffee and a fag to recover ! Paul Cartmel

		John Lewin visits us usually twice a week and has caught a few of our big boys - an ex-Irish International fisherman, he certainly knows how to catch fish. John Lewin


Mark Gracey - 17lb 2oz
		Mark Gracey with the biggest fish of the year so far !! 17lb 2oz - a peach of a fish. It was Marks' second visit to us and now he's "hooked". Tea, 2 sugar and Steve, his mate, tea no sugar. Now an ex-course angler and this beats his previous 'Double' carp. Mark Gracey

		Alan Lewis is a very good young fisherman. This is the first of his doubles - he's caught another two in the last few weeks. On one day alone he caught 13 trout (although not all big boys). Alan Lewis

		Gareth Griffiths has been big fish hunting at Tan-y-Mynydd for some months. This 16lb 8oz clonker was certainly worth his wait. His dad, Colin, is playing catch-up ! Gareth Griffiths

Peter Ridding
		Peter Ridding from Dorset had great fun with this beaut - little competition with his mate Sam Lees (next photo) on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Fish not as big as Sams' but still a fine specimen. Has to be another of Neils photos - somebody please hide the camera from him! Peter Ridding

Tom Swift - 12lb+
		Tan-y-Mynydd trout steaks are definitely on the menu at the Rock Inn at Lloc. Tom Swift was a very happy man indeed with this 12 pounder as it beat his sons' (Mike Swift) double from last year! Tom Swift

A Proud Man...
		This is a very proud man indeed - not long in the sport and already a big fish catcher! He is so proud of it, that he has decided to have the fish stuffed !!

Alan Skeates
		Wait a minute - who's this ? Alan Skeates (our trainee STANIC wannabe) just had to get in on the act ! The air was blue when he caught this one - nice fish, shame about the hat... Alan Skeates

		Like all the other doubles returned, this one took off like a bullet once it had recovered and rested for a while. If only we could have ice cold water all year round.

		Here's Wayne Jones with a fine specimen. Wayne fishes for the Army and what a fisherman he is ! As well as catching this 11 pounder, on the same day he caught another 24 fish on a 2½ hour ticket. Now that's some going... Wayne Jones

		What a season Alan Minshall is having - he's caught another two doubles with us and also done well at Dragonfly Fishery, catching a 10lb+ Blue Trout. This is the first of Alans' two doubles. Alan Minshall

Bob Connor
		Only one photo of Bob Connor with a double - he's caught quite a few but being a very caring fisherman, is always eager to return the fish to the pool. Bob is a very experienced and knowledgeable fisherman so - if you want advice on how to catch fish, Bob's your man !! Bob Connor

Hmmmm...
		This extremely shady customer heard wandering round the fishery muttering 'semtex' turned out to be the owner, Bryn Roberts. Bryn thinks that 'semtex ' is just as good as a fly when it comes to catching doubles. He also admits to cheating.. The new stock of doubles arrived at 6.15pm on a Tuesday evening. Neil arrived 7.30 the next morning and caught a 12 pounder but there was no one there to take his picture - shame!! Half-an-hour later Bryn arrived and gave it a bash on a cats whisker and - bingo..
