 Ossies Memorial Shield September 2005 

A good turn out occurred on Saturday 24th September and it was pleasing to see some new faces in this prestigious competition. The morning session proved very fruitful with a good head of fish being caught.

As is the normal the afternoon proved to be much more challenging. The weather played its part giving us a real mixed bag over the day.

The result was a close run thing but it is pleasing to report that yet another new name is about to appear on the trophy that being: Trevor Dart (far right). Trevor had success with his home tied 'Tan y Mynydd Black Buzzer' and the copper wire seems to make all the difference.

Well done Trevor and commiserations to Gavin Kelly (2nd) and Terry Jones and Craig Owen (joint 3rd) - there's always next year!
