North Wales Premier Fly Fishery

 Ossies Memorial Shield April. 2005 

A Good turn out occurred for this competition - 12 anglers braved some very untoward weather and fishing was very difficult. However one young man could not go wrong and romped home a winner catching most, if not all, of his fish on an Egg Fly.

The good news was that the youngster, Liam Hughes, was Ossie`s nephew and, having come close to winning the competition in the past, this was his moment. We know Ossie would have been very proud of him.

The trophy could not have been won by anyone more deserving - Well done Liam and many congratulations.
