 Ossies Memorial Shield September 2006 

Saturday, 16th September, saw the second competition of 2006. only six anglers turned up on the day and, after nice conditions at the start of the day, a real heatwave hit us and the fish went very deep.

Young Craig owen, who has won the competition in the past, went into the afternoon with a narrow lead with Alan Lewis catching up fast.

Very few fish were caught in the afternoon and Craig won the trophy with four fish followed by Alan with three.

Suntans were the order of the day but notwithstanding difficult conditions, a good day was had by all.
